Introduction
ZTOCKS is the liquidity layer for tokenized stocks: non-custodial pools, honest position accounting, and yield paid in real equities, built on Robinhood Chain.
What ZTOCKS is
Stock tokens are on-chain representations of listed equities, issued on Robinhood Chain and tradeable every hour of every day. ZTOCKS is the DeFi layer built for those assets. It is not an exchange account, not a broker, and it never holds your funds: it is a set of smart contracts you interact with directly from your own wallet.
The protocol has three products:
- Liquidity pools: provide liquidity to stock token pairs like
NVDA / USDGinside a price range you choose, and earn the pool fee on every trade that crosses it. - Index baskets: single tokens like
zMAG7backed one-to-one by the underlying stock tokens they track, redeemable at any time. - Staking: protocol fees are converted into blue-chip stock tokens and streamed to stakers, so yield comes from market activity rather than token emissions.
Why it exists
The interesting part of tokenized equities is not that they exist, it is what becomes possible once they are ordinary on-chain assets: around-the-clock markets, self-custody, composability with the rest of DeFi. What has been missing is depth. Thin liquidity means wide spreads, bad fills and no reason for volume to arrive.
ZTOCKS attacks that directly. Concentrated liquidity makes market making capital-efficient, honest PnL accounting makes providing liquidity a decision you can evaluate, and the fee flywheel gives the ecosystem a reason to route volume here.
Architecture
ZTOCKS runs on Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum layer 2 built on the Arbitrum stack. Gas is paid in ETH. The stock tokens themselves are issued by third parties: ZTOCKS composes with them but does not mint, custody or control them.
Project status
What you see today is a preview build running on live market data: prices, liquidity, volume and basket NAVs are read from the chain via GeckoTerminal and from Yahoo Finance reference feeds. The protocol contracts themselves are not deployed yet, so anything that needs one — deposits, positions, rewards — shows an honest empty state rather than an invented figure. Audits ship with the launch contracts. Until then, nothing on this site is an offer, a solicitation, or investment advice.
